Y11 GCSE Exam results Day

Posted on: 15/08/2026

GCSE results day is on Thursday 20th August 2026.  You are welcome to come to the Assembly Hall, to pick up your statement of results between 09:00am and 11:00am. This includes any year other students who have taken a GCSE early.

If you are unable to collect your results on the 20th August, there are two options open to you:

  • If you would like to have your results posted, please hand in a stamped addressed envelope to the Exam Office/Reception before Thursday 16th July. Please note we are unable to post results home until Thursday 20th August. If results are required for college registration in August, please arrange to pick up in person.

  • If you would like a designated relative/adult to collect your results you must send a letter/email for the attention of the Exams Office by Thursday 16th July explaining who you would like to collect your results.  Results will not be given to student friends.  Please ask your designated relative/adult to bring some form of identification on the day.

It will not be possible to email results or send them by any method other than described above.

Please note that my priority on results day will be the students who attend in person, however I will also be checking emails at the earliest convenience, but as you can appreciate this is a very busy period.

Student results will show the overall Grade and a breakdown of marks.  This can be used to review against the Grade Boundaries that will be released by the exam boards on results day.  Just search Grade Boundaries on the exam board website.

If you feel your Grade is near to the next grade boundary, it is possible to get exam scripts back, free of charge.  We will need email confirmation or a signed form to complete this request.  Some teachers may be available to review scripts, however, please be aware not all teachers will be available until we return to school in September.  Script requests and remark request are available until mid September.

If you wish to proceed to a remark, we will need payment before this can be submitted.  We can only accept cash or cheque.  Charges will be individual to each qualification/exam board.

Enrolment for Sixth Form

For our students wishing to confirm their place and enrol for Sixth Form, enrolment will be available in the Assembly Hall / canteen area as soon as the students have received their results, from 09:00 am until 12:15pm.

The Exam Officers will be available on results day from 09:00 – 13:00 and again on Friday 21st August from 08:30 – 13:00.  We will then be available for script requests and remarks from Tuesday 1st September onwards.

Our contact details are as follows:

Mrs Kelly – GCSE – j.kelly@kssf.kmat.org.uk

Mrs Chamberlain – GCE – m.chamberlain@kssf.kmat.org.uk

Certificates

These do not arrive in the school until November / December 2026.  The school can send them directly to your home, but only if you bring £6.00 into school before Thursday 16th July or on results day. This cost will cover the special posting regulations laid down by the awarding bodies.  Alternatively, all students will be able to collect their certificates in person from our Sixth Form from November onwards, otherwise they will be returned to the awarding body after 12 months for disposal.
