GCSE RESULTS – SUMMER 2016

Congratulations to all year 11 students who achieved a great set of GCSE exam results this summer. Eighty two percent of students achieved the national measure of A*-C in both English and Maths and 43% of students achieved A*- C passes in E-BACC subjects.

This year 11 class of students have shown tremendous resilience, determination, collaboration with their staff and impressive peer support at difficult times. They have matured in ways that cannot be measured by examination results, having lost a dear friend and classmate last year. I am tremendously proud of each and every one of them.  Well done to all!

A LEVEL RESULTS – SUMMER 2016

Congratulations to our sixth form students who have once again achieved another set of superb A level results this summer.  An impressive 11% of all exams were passed at A*, and 12% of students achieved 3 AAB passes or higher in the prestigious ‘facilitating subjects’. Forty students achieved straight A and A grades in 3 or more of their subjects. All of our final year A level students achieved at least one A level pass at A*-E. This success is a testament to our students’ consistent hard work, commitment to their studies, and first class support from their dedicated teachers. We are immensely proud of our students and wish them all good luck as they progress to the next stage of their education or career.
